IQ Daylight Sensors

Wireless Sensor for Daylighting

Cence IQ Daylight Sensors are wireless, have a 10 year battery life, and a simple peel-and-stick installation. They collect indoor environmental quality (IEQ) and indoor air quality (IAQ) data.

IQ Daylight Sensors are often used for daylighting, or daylight harvesting, to save energy, as well as to collect data for lighting brightness, and color temperature to optimize the lighting comfort of a space. The Cence App utilizes this data to generate practical insights so users can create data-backed automations.

About Cence IQ Daylight Sensors

Image of the Cence daylight sensor

Cence IQ Daylight Sensors are wireless and remotely programmable. They come out-of-the-box ready to mount with pre-installed batteries and a peel-and-stick backing. These wireless sensors also have a battery life of 10 years, for ease of maintenance.

Cence IQ Daylight Sensors monitor for light brightness levels, lighting colour temperature, and enable daylighting (daylight harvesting) for energy savings.

The data collected from these IEQ sensors is used to improve the indoor environmental quality of a space, and optimize energy usage.

When paired with the Cence Digital Twin software (the Cence App), daylight sensor data can be visualized so users can monitor, control, and automate their systems and spaces based on data and practical insights (that are generated by the app).
